Quality Assurance Analyst

As a project coordinator, you will work closely with Project Managers to help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high-quality standards.

After a short training and mentorship period, you will be thoroughly versed and able to demonstrate knowledge of Streampoint’s event technology offerings. You will familiarize yourself with the event industry and how our solutions are relevant in that space. On a day-to-day basis, you will coordinate project requirements across our design, development and customer support teams.

Your goal will be to test the ins and outs of high-quality software aligned with user needs and business goals and identify concerns through reporting and collaboration with the development team.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as a point of contact and communicating project status to all stakeholders
  • Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment and information in an agile environment
  • Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Ensuring that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves
  • Providing Project Managers with relevant updates on a project’s status and budget allocation
  • Assigning tasks to internal teams and assisting with schedule management
  • Assisting in gathering requirements from clients for the development of registration and event websites
  • Monitoring services rendered are within the client contract and scope
  • Ensuring standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
  • Tracking the usage time of resources being put into a project
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Using tools to monitor work hours, plans and expenditures
  • Travelling on location to assist with running onsite registration
  • Demonstrate and actively participate in maintaining Streampoint’s culture and values
  • Performing other project coordinator duties as assigned by the leadership team.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A thirst for knowledge: A passion for learning and understanding new and evolving products and technologies—as well as a desire to know just what keeps our clients up at night. You’ll arm yourself with product knowledge, leveraging your team to fill in any gaps while being more than capable of researching and troubleshooting issues on your own
  • A passion for helping clients: You care deeply about the client’s experience with Streampoint Solutions, our products, and our people. You’re a multitasking wizard to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner and are able to manage more than one client at a time
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team: You have the experience and capabilities to work effectively on your own to get tasks done while still being able to build strong internal relationships and lead clients without supervision
  • Excellent communication abilities: You’re able to present, communicate verbally and written, negotiate, and be a creative problem solver
  • Technical Abilities: This is considered an asset if you understand simple computer system setup and networking. If you do not, your willingness to learn is essential
  • You will be required to travel across North America. Weekend travel may be required in some cases. A valid Passport is mandatory, and all travel documents are required to be in good standing.
