The following policy outlines Streampoint Solutions’ (hereafter referred to as Streampoint) privacy practices.  By visiting Streampoint’s Website and/or using Streampoint’s applications you are accepting the practices described herein.

What Information Streampoint Collects from You

In general, we receive and store any information that you enter into our website and/or applications or provide to us in any other way.  This includes information that can identify you (“personal information”) such as your first and last name, phone number and postal and email addresses.

Streampoint also collects information when you interact with its customer support, account management teams in order to verify your identity as a Streampoint user and respond to customer enquiries.  In some cases this may include requesting your user ID, name, email address and other related information.  In the event that you do not wish to give this information for identification purposes, you may elect to send an email to our support team at support@streampoint.com for assistance.

Information From Other Sources

Automatic Information

As is the case with most websites, Streampoint gathers certain information automatically and stores it in log files.  Such information may include IP (Internet Protocol) addresses, browser types, ISPs (Internet Service Providers), operating systems and/or clickstream data. Streampoint does not link this automatically collected date with other information we collect about you.  Streampoint’s goal in collecting such information is to help in customizing your user experience and inhibiting fraud whilst using our services.  

Each time you log into the Application, a session cookie containing a unique encrypted identifier tied to your account is placed in your browser.  These cookies allow us to uniquely identify you when you are logged into the application and to process online transactions and requests.  The Website and/or Application can only read cookies generated by Streampoint and these cookies are required to use the Application.  Your login information and any other account related data included in such cookies are encrypted for security purposes.  

How Streampoint Uses Your Information

We use information about you for the following purposes: to provide you with the products and services you request, to provide you with notifications, confirmations and updates, to manage your account, to communicate with you and to respond to your questions and comments, to notify you about other products or services from Streampoint and/or its affiliates that may be of interest to you, to improve our products, to resolve disputes, to troubleshoot problems, to prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities; to enforce the terms of our End User Licence Agreement (EULA) and other policies.

Streampoint takes the privacy of its users very seriously and does not sell, rent or otherwise provide your personal information to third parties, except as described in this policy.  We may provide your personal information to third-party vendors that provide services to Streampoint to help us with our business activities, such as processing payments and offering customer service.  These companies are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to Streampoint. This policy does not cover our clients’ use of your information outside of our services.

Accessing our Website and Application from Outside the United States

If you are accessing Streampoint’s Website and Applications from outside of the United States please be advised that your information may be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States where our servers are located.  In order to help secure your personal information, access to your data on Streampoint is password-protected and sensitive information is protected by SSL encryption when it is exchanged between systems.  We also regularly audit our system for possible vulnerabilities and attacks, however since the internet is not a 100% secure environment we cannot ensure or guarantee the security of any information you transmit or provide to Streampoint.  Please note that emails, instant messaging and other similar means of communication are not encrypted, and Streampoint strongly advises you not to communicate any confidential information through these means.

By using our services, you understand and consent that your information may be transferred to our facilities as well as those third parties with whom we share it as outlined in this Privacy Policy.  

EU GDPR Data Subjects – Accessing and Updating your Personal Information

For those accessing Streampoint’s Website and/or using Streampoint’s Application who are defined as ‘data subjects’ under the the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); as prescribed within this particular regulation, you have several rights connected with the provision of your personal data whilst using Streampoint’s Website and/or Application.
