We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive (SAE) to join our growing team. The SAE will be responsible for driving new sales of our software and services, targeting a diverse range of clients in the event industry. This position is ideal for a results-driven professional who is passionate about technology and events, and is excited about contributing to the growth of a dynamic startup.
Key Accountabilities aligned with our core values:
Sales and Revenue Generation
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify, prospect, and cultivate relationships with potential clients, including event organizers, associations, corporations, and venues.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement lead generation strategies.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals.
- Exceed expectations in a high growth, quota carrying position.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of our software and services, from simple to complex offerings.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to potential clients.
- Provide compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our technology’s capabilities.
Client Relationship Management (as needed):
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients to ensure client satisfaction and account growth.
- Understand the unique needs and challenges of each client and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
Market Analysis and Reporting
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide regular reports and feedback to the management team, including sales forecasts and market insights.
- Work closely with the product development and customer support teams to relay client feedback and ensure client needs are met.
- Collaborate with customer focused colleagues to ensure a seamless onboarding process for clients.
Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a distinct advantage.
Proven Sales Expertise: Minimum of 8 years in B2B sales focused on the US market, ideally within the event marketing technology sector. A proven track record of consistently and predictably exceeding results in a quota carrying role with average deal sizes in the low 6-figures.
Industry Acumen: Solid grasp of event marketing technology and up-to-date with industry trends.
Articulate Communicator: Natural communication prowess, amplified by top-tier presentation skills. This is essential for delineating Streampoint’s value proposition effectively.
