About Us

As a Business Development Representative, you will build your business and sales skills as you work with the VP of sales and marketing. You will help build and grow our customer base, participate in industry events, build on new relationships, and leverage your knowledge of Streampoints’ services to help streamline event managers’ event technologies. In this role, it will be your opportunity to grow, learn, and build upon your career in a technology and event space.

We are looking for someone to support our Sales Team and manage their day-to-day operations. To be successful in this role, you will be extremely organized, adaptive to tasks and functions required at an administrative level, and have exceptional customer service skills.

What the day-to-day will look like:

  • Prospect new sales leads to develop and increase our pipeline utilizing different channels including telephone, virtual marketing, emails and social media and web meetings

Video Producer - Contractor

Job Description

Streampoint Solutions is an agency style event technology company that is now focusing on delivering virtual events in Canada and the United States. We offer tailored tools to the conference, tradeshow, and special events community. We create solutions that are scalable and adaptable to the meeting industry’s most complex registration requirements.

As the Live Streaming Technical Video Producer at Streampoint Solutions, you will bring your vast knowledge of video and live stream production to life with our customers. You will have a very unique role in the planning, coordination and management of virtual event production from concept to post-production. You should also have a thorough understanding of production software tools like VMIX, Wirecast, and OBS. You will work closely with our creative team to ensure that all assets for the production are prepared on time for implementation.

You’ll Make Us Better By:

  • Work with our team and customers to understand project requirements and develop the run of show for each specific event.

  • Pre-produce content for pre-recorded events by combining creative, animations, and pre-recorded videos.
  • Pre-produce the live stream and implement the run of the show into the live-streaming tool (VMIX).

  • Coordinate with live participation of hosts and speakers in the recording of sessions and live events.
  • Deliver exceptional response times to all client issues, with the expectation that occasional work will be completed outside of working hours which may be required for the dates of the event.

What you bring

  • 2-5 years of Video Production experience within the Film or Events Industry with proven success managing projects and relationships from a service delivery perspective.
  • 2+ years of operating experience with Wirecast / VMIX or similar tools.
  • Flexibility and availability to work outside regular business hours.
  • Ability to think outside the box. You are someone who works creatively to continuously push the envelope of video content and stand out from the rest. You are someone that constantly delivers more than what the client ever imagined.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
  • You are thorough in your documentation and follow-up practices.
  • Previous experience working remotely is a plus. While the ability to come to the office during production days may be required.

Housing Coordinator & Client Service Specialist

Job Description

You are responsible for managing and setting up event housing sites while providing our clients the best in class support experience. In addition you will also be responsible for collaborating with hotels and clients to ensure allocations are in check and the client is attrition free. You will work closely with the housing manager and their respective support teams.

Success in this role

After a short learning period, the successful candidate will be fully versed and be able to provide exceptional support with a deep knowledge of our housing management platform. You’ll be able to set up a reservation booking site using the client’s contracts, along with entering their inventory and setting up their requested room blocks.
In addition you will also be a liaison with the hotel and client to ensure communication and reports are current and all stakeholders are kept up to speed on the current status of their housing.
You will also be responsible for handling inbound support phone calls , responding to email inquiries and making outbound calls as needed.
All while working with your team in a meaningful and collaborative manner.

You’ll Make Us Better By:

  • Working with the Housing Manager and other departments on the execution of all contracted client services for conferences and tradeshows.
  • Being a knowledgeable and skilled at setting up client sites using approved event contracts, setting up hotel inventory and requested room blocks.
  • Being the main contact for contracted hotels; communicate all housing processes, create hotel logins, inquire about additional inventory
  • Creating all hotel correspondence within the event platform.
  • Overseeing all housing communications sent to attendees, exhibitors and groups
  • Performing full hotel audits and review master billing provided by hotels to ensure accuracy before client provides payment
  • Managing VIP requests, group and block reservations by phone and/or email.

  • Participating in regular tests to ensure site(s) functionality is as designed.
  • Preparing and providing reports periodically to clients, exhibitors and hotels.
