Job Description

As a project coordinator, you will work closely with Project Managers to help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high-quality standards.

After a short training and mentorship period, you will be thoroughly versed and able to demonstrate knowledge of Streampoint’s event technology offerings. You will familiarize yourself with the event industry and how our solutions are relevant in that space. On a day-to-day basis, you will coordinate project requirements across our design, development and customer support teams.

Responsibilities as a project coordinator will be:

  • Acting as a point of contact and communicating project status to all stakeholders
  • Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment and information in an agile environment
  • Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Ensuring that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves
  • Providing Project Managers with relevant updates on a project’s status and budget allocation
  • Assigning tasks to internal teams and assisting with schedule management
  • Assisting in gathering requirements from clients for the development of registration and event websites
  • Monitoring services rendered are within the client contract and scope
  • Ensuring standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
  • Tracking the usage time of resources being put into a project
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Using tools to monitor work hours, plans and expenditures
  • Travelling on location to assist with running onsite registration
  • Demonstrate and actively participate in maintaining Streampoint’s culture and values
  • Performing other project coordinator duties as assigned by the leadership team.

UX/UI Designer (Full-Time)

Job Description

Streampoint Solutions is an agency-style event technology company that is focused on delivering in-person, virtual and hybrid events in Canada and the United States. We offer tailored tools to the conference, tradeshow, and special events community. We create solutions that are scalable and adaptable to the meeting industry’s most complex registration requirements.

As a member of the UX/UI team at Streampoint Solutions, you will bring your keen eye for UI design and expertise in UX. You will have many opportunities to work with the Streampoint team to conceptualize and brainstorm solutions to design problems and bring concepts to life. You should have a thorough understanding of Figma, the Adobe Suite (Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects), the fundamentals of web development (HTML, CSS/LESS) and a strong grasp of the fundamentals of UX. You will work closely with our creative and development teams to ensure that all assets are prepared on time for implementation.

You Will:

  • Work with our team to understand project requirements.
  • Leverage the latest industry technologies to bring a concept to life.
  • Flex your design muscles and step outside of the box to produce clean, intuitive, modern layouts. These will range from flow diagrams and low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Assist in the implementation of finished assets.
  • Create prototypes of more complicated mock-ups when necessary.
  • Maintain the design system.
  • Walkthrough mock-ups with stakeholders and the design/development teams.
  • Be proactive with design problems. Make suggestions with confidence and work with the team to help everyone advance.
  • Be willing and motivated to learn new techniques and technologies to solve creative problems and elevate the finished product
  • Deliver exceptional response times for all team issues and requests, with the expectation that occasional work will be completed outside of working hours to meet tight deadlines.

What you bring

  • Studies in UX/UI design completed or near completion. 1 – 2 years of practical work experience.
  • Solid grasp of UX design principles.
  • A strong foundation in UI design and best practices.
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of Figma.

As a Support Coordinator, your responsibilities will focus on providing exceptional service and support to our clients, event attendees and internal team members. You will be assisting team members on projects and servicing our call/support center.

Skills / Duties

  • You will be assisting in the coordination of event logistics, registration and general office administration and will work closely with members of the team
  • Maintains project awareness in order to keep members of the team informed about the status and potential project issues
  • Promote the principles of personalized service in all contacts with clients and event attendees
  • Answer calls from event attendees and provide service information regarding event information, registration payment and respond promptly to all inquiries
  • Handle all requests, complaints and claims of our attendees on all aspects of the customer service; escalated event attendees inquiries (telephone, chat and email) in a timely and courteous fashion; investigate issues where necessary and complete/maintain close monitoring of agreed follow up with the clients/attendees
  • Liaise with internal team members as required to resolve inquiries and concerns

Experience

  • A college diploma in administration or related experience; Business or hospitality education is a plus
  • Event industry experience is considered a key asset
  • Pertinent customer service experience
  • Knowledge of computer tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Skills / Duties

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with a team of project managers, designers and developers to implement client business requirements for building event registration sites
  • Take ownership of deliverables and provide leadership as a senior member of the team, resolving impediments and executing technical direction throughout
  • Coding business logic through SQL stored procedures, functions and .NET custom controls
  • Adhoc data mining by writing custom database queries
  • Participate in all phases of the development cycle, including planning, daily standups, demos and retrospectives

Quality Assurance Analyst (Full-Time)

We are immediately looking for a dynamic and analytical individual who will flourish learning and testing the front end of an application and can thrive when case scenarios are puzzling or challenging.

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will work independently with little supervision and amongst peers. You should have the ability to think strategically and respond quickly to multiple priorities and deadlines. As well as excellent organization and problem-solving skills.

Your goal will be to test the ins and outs of high-quality software aligned with user needs and business goals and identify concerns through reporting and collaboration with the development team.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Perform manual end-to-end testing of our software and systems in the various sandbox, development and cross-browser/platform environments
  • Assist in the test management process by:
    • Documenting test cases run and logging issues in detail
    • Reporting on testing progress and status to Developer Lead(s)
    • Collaborating with Developers to resolve problems found in a release cycle by assisting in the diagnosis and replication of issues
  • Develop and document software efficient test plans and user flows
  • Execute manual and automated test plans and troubleshoot, report and track defects through to resolution

Housing Coordinator & Client Service Specialist

Job Description

You are responsible for managing and setting up event housing sites while providing our clients the best in class support experience. In addition you will also be responsible for collaborating with hotels and clients to ensure allocations are in check and the client is attrition free. You will work closely with the housing manager and their respective support teams.

Success in this role

After a short learning period, the successful candidate will be fully versed and be able to provide exceptional support with a deep knowledge of our housing management platform. You’ll be able to set up a reservation booking site using the client’s contracts, along with entering their inventory and setting up their requested room blocks.
In addition you will also be a liaison with the hotel and client to ensure communication and reports are current and all stakeholders are kept up to speed on the current status of their housing.
You will also be responsible for handling inbound support phone calls , responding to email inquiries and making outbound calls as needed.
All while working with your team in a meaningful and collaborative manner.

You’ll Make Us Better By:

  • Working with the Housing Manager and other departments on the execution of all contracted client services for conferences and tradeshows.
  • Being a knowledgeable and skilled at setting up client sites using approved event contracts, setting up hotel inventory and requested room blocks.
  • Being the main contact for contracted hotels; communicate all housing processes, create hotel logins, inquire about additional inventory
  • Creating all hotel correspondence within the event platform.
  • Overseeing all housing communications sent to attendees, exhibitors and groups
  • Performing full hotel audits and review master billing provided by hotels to ensure accuracy before client provides payment
  • Managing VIP requests, group and block reservations by phone and/or email.
  • Promoting group codes or incentive campaigns to increase pick up while maintaining best user experience.
  • Managing client staff/VIP rooming lists to ensure the most up to date billing information is communicated to the hotels.
  • Focusing on clients end users to ensure they have a positive experience throughout the housing processes.
  • Working closely with clients to understand their needs and manage their expectations with each events unique components, requirements and business logic.
  • Ensuring objectives are achieved within prescribed time frame and satisfy their reporting and data requirements.
  • Keeping the Housing Manager up to date with any end user issues and provide suggestions as to solutions to any challenges that may arise.
  • Participating in regular tests to ensure site(s) functionality is as designed.
  • Preparing and providing reports periodically to clients, exhibitors and hotels.
