Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and analytical individual who will flourish learning and testing the front end of an application and can thrive when case scenarios are puzzling or challenging.

As an Application Support Analyst, you will work independently with little supervision and amongst your peers. You should have the ability to think strategically and respond quickly to multiple priorities and deadlines. As well as excellent organization and problem-solving skills.

Your goals will be to test the ins and outs of high-quality web-based and phone application software aligned with user needs, business goals and identify concerns through reporting and collaboration with the development teams. You will also be providing exceptional service and support to our clients and their customers via our support center.

Skills / Duties

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Perform manual end-to-end testing of our software and systems in various sandbox, development and cross-browser/platform environments
  • At least 2 years of working experience with Web / Native Mobile applications (running on IOS & Android devices)
  • Understanding of internet of things (IoT) devices (Bluetooth connectivity) and their interactions with both mobile and web applications
  • Assist in the test management process by:
    • Documenting test cases run and logging issues in detail
    • Collaborating with Developers to resolve problems found in a release cycle by assisting in diagnosis and replication of issues
    • Reporting on testing progress and status to Developer Lead(s)
  • Develop and document software efficient test plans and user flows

  • Positively and actively support effective communication, encourage and provide constructive feedback
  • Attend daily stand-up (virtual) scrums to report on testing progress and identify any impediments or roadblocks
  • Receive and respond to email and phone inquiries from end customers. Logging, tasking and resolving on average 20-50 inquiries per month.
  • Maintain client/customer satisfaction by ensuring that response time and call resolution occurs within the defined service level guidelines and achieving team goals & objectives
  • Act as the front-facing liaison between customers and the development team. Effectively share information with support and project team, and coordinate with them to prioritize bug fixes and support tooling requirements.
  • Triage and respond to user feedback, questions and complaints via email and social media
  • Provide complete technical troubleshooting support for all products and services, including electronic devices, iOS and Android applications, and web tools.

Nice to Have Skills:

Junior .NET/SQL Developer (Full-TIme 1 Position)

Job Description

The Junior .NET/SQL Developer position will involve setting up new client sites through the use of our proprietary event management software. You will be required to collaborate across the different operations teams at each stage of the development cycle.

  • Working closely with a team of project managers, designers and developers to implement client business requirements for building event registration sites

You and your team will be involved in developing various web-based, data-driven solutions in a large enterprise .NET 4.5+ application in a software as a service environment as well as supporting the creation and maintenance of other applications. Skills / Duties

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Supervising a team of 3-5 full-stack developers and being accountable for project delivery for client-facing systems

What the day-to-day will look like:

Sales Coordinator:

  • Be the first point of contact for new sales inquiries and responding promptly to ensure the sales team never misses a beat

  • Practice a consultative approach when prepare proposals and contracts based on each client’s unique event needs and make revisions when necessary

As a member of the UX team, you will use your experience and knowledge of front-end development to deliver a delightful working solution. We are looking for a dynamic and analytical individual who will flourish learning and testing the front end of an application and can thrive when case scenarios are puzzling or challenging.

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will work independently with little supervision and amongst peers. You should have the ability to think strategically and respond quickly to multiple priorities and deadlines. As well as excellent organization and problem-solving skills.

Your goal will be to test the ins and outs of high-quality software aligned with user needs and business goals and identify concerns through reporting and collaboration with the development team.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Perform manual end-to-end testing of our software and systems in the various sandbox, development and cross-browser/platform environments
  • Assist in the test management process by:
    • Reporting on testing progress and status to Developer Lead(s)
    • Documenting test cases run and logging issues in detail
    • Collaborating with Developers to resolve problems found in a release cycle by assisting in diagnosis and replication of issues
    • Reporting on testing progress and status to Developer Lead(s)
  • Develop and document software efficient test plans and user flows
  • Execute manual and automated test plans and troubleshoot, report and track defects through to resolution
  • Work with the product stakeholders and our software development team to troubleshoot and resolve identified issues and defects
  • Create accurate and high-quality reports on time and in the format specified by the company
  • Use a Defect Tracking System (i.e.: Jira) to track and report problems with the software
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of testing strategy and methods
  • Manage multiple tasks and adhere to project and development schedules
  • Positively and actively support effective communication, encourage and provide constructive feedback
  • Attend daily stand-up (virtual) scrums to report on testing progress and identify any impediments or roadblocks
  • Actively collaborate and participate in Streampoint’s culture and values
  • Additional quality assurance or other duties as assigned by the leadership team.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience in automated web application testing such as Moq, xUnit and Jest
  • Experience in load testing software such as Loadimpact, K6 or others
  • Any underlying programming knowledge in languages such as C# and Javascript.

What we’re looking for in you:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent
  • 1+ years in Quality Assurance work experience in Web Application and Software testing
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively
  • Experience using project tracking software is considered a strong asset (ie: JIRA)
  • Proficient with Quality Assurance principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with test case management systems and test management tools
  • Computer literate in GSuite, MS Office, Slack, intermediate Internet competency and experience with task management. must be willing to learn new internal systems that may be implemented
  • You are an expert at troubleshooting and diagnosing system issues with an attention to detail
  • Must thrive and work well under pressure, excel with tight deadlines, and have excellent attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • Great planning and organizational skills
  • Have independent decision-making abilities.

Housing Coordinator & Client Service Specialist

Job Description

You are responsible for managing and setting up event housing sites while providing our clients the best in class support experience. In addition you will also be responsible for collaborating with hotels and clients to ensure allocations are in check and the client is attrition free. You will work closely with the housing manager and their respective support teams.

Success in this role

After a short learning period, the successful candidate will be fully versed and be able to provide exceptional support with a deep knowledge of our housing management platform. You’ll be able to set up a reservation booking site using the client’s contracts, along with entering their inventory and setting up their requested room blocks.
In addition you will also be a liaison with the hotel and client to ensure communication and reports are current and all stakeholders are kept up to speed on the current status of their housing.
You will also be responsible for handling inbound support phone calls , responding to email inquiries and making outbound calls as needed.
All while working with your team in a meaningful and collaborative manner.

You’ll Make Us Better By:

  • Working with the Housing Manager and other departments on the execution of all contracted client services for conferences and tradeshows.
  • Being a knowledgeable and skilled at setting up client sites using approved event contracts, setting up hotel inventory and requested room blocks.
  • Being the main contact for contracted hotels; communicate all housing processes, create hotel logins, inquire about additional inventory
  • Creating all hotel correspondence within the event platform.
  • Overseeing all housing communications sent to attendees, exhibitors and groups
  • Performing full hotel audits and review master billing provided by hotels to ensure accuracy before client provides payment
  • Managing VIP requests, group and block reservations by phone and/or email.
  • Promoting group codes or incentive campaigns to increase pick up while maintaining best user experience.
  • Managing client staff/VIP rooming lists to ensure the most up to date billing information is communicated to the hotels.
  • Focusing on clients end users to ensure they have a positive experience throughout the housing processes.
  • Working closely with clients to understand their needs and manage their expectations with each events unique components, requirements and business logic.
  • Ensuring objectives are achieved within prescribed time frame and satisfy their reporting and data requirements.
  • Keeping the Housing Manager up to date with any end user issues and provide suggestions as to solutions to any challenges that may arise.
  • Participating in regular tests to ensure site(s) functionality is as designed.
  • Preparing and providing reports periodically to clients, exhibitors and hotels.
